Daredevil Vs Punisher, Batman Vs Superman, and before we get to the Civil War DC threw one more at us Justice League Vs Teen Titans. Hello everyone Brandon here to talk to you all about the new Blu-ray that came out this week Justice League Vs Teen Titans to continue 2016 being the year heroes kick the crap out of each other. This is the latest in DC animated line-up which I am personally a big fan of. I think DC’s animated movies are some of the best they have to offer. How does this film hold up? Of course I am going to tell you. The story is a continuation to the animated continuity we have been seeing. Last month we had Batman Bad Blood which this movie is a direct sequel to. You follow mainly the Teen Titans in this story as they battle a infected Justice League. Yet of course they aren’t infected by any virus but the evil Trigon. Okay this is a little weak if I do say so myself. Trigon is Ravens (from the Teen Titans) father and he is some demon dickhole who somehow can take over heroes. The fighting is alright at best there aren’t any intense scenes that happen. Trigon isn’t ever much of a threat they figure out how to beat him fairly quick, and speaking of quick the battle between Justice League and Teen Titans is also very quick. Honestly if they had an actual fight the Titans would get their asses handed to them. Sadly the characters we follow are what actually break this movie; which are Damian Wayne and Raven. Damian Wayne is such a little d-bag it annoys me that he is yet again the main focus. I really hate that the last few movies have centered on this little shit. Raven is actually less mopey then I’ve seen previously so that’s a plus. The story just didn’t enthrall me at all which is a must being that I found myself falling asleep in a action movie. That is never a good sign. The animation is similar to all the other DC movies which is good. I dig the way each character looks and even sounds. While Batman isn’t Kevin Conroy Jason O’Mara does a fine job. All the voice actors do even the kid who plays Damian Wayne is good his character just sucks. Sam Liu directed this and this guy knows DC animation. Now saying that this movie is probably being his third best film he has directed right behind All-Star Superman and Batman Year One. Regardless the guy is a veteran in the business. Overall the film wasn’t the best in the DC animated films. I liked it more than Bad Blood but less than a list of others that’d be too long to name. I think you all should check this out if you’re a fan of DC animation, but only for free. If it is on Netflix by all means check it out, or maybe a $1.00 Redbox should do it. I give it a 2.5/5. I hope that The Killing Joke is the next Under the Red Hood.
